Lexington Law’s Simple Stages
Stage 1: Obtain credit reports.
After signing up, they will help you obtain your credit reports from the three major credit bureaus, TransUnion, Experian and Equifax.
Stage 2: Identify Questionable Items.
Once they obtain your credit reports, the paralegal assigned to your case will work with you to identify questionable items on your reports.
Stage 3: Begin Online Dispute Process.
They will begin the dispute process by challenging questionable items directly with all three major credit bureaus.
Stage 4: Track Results and Follow Up.
The credit bureaus are required to respond within 30 days of the investigation. They will continue to monitor your updated credit reports and follow up with each disputed items as necessary.
